Sales Engineer Opportunity
ASAPP Financial Technology is seeking a technically adept and client-focused Sales Engineer to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue & Customer Experience Officer, this role is pivotal in supporting the pre-sales cycle, helping prospective Client-Partners understand the value of the ASAPP OXP® | Omnichannel Experience Platform.
The Sales Engineer will play a key role in enabling platform adoption by translating business requirements into compelling platform demonstrations, solution designs, and technical insights.
Your Role
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support discovery calls, product demos, technical Q&A sessions, and RFP responses.
- Deliver compelling platform demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to the needs of credit unions and financial institutions.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Services teams to scope solutions, validate feasibility, and ensure alignment with platform capabilities.
- Translate business and operational pain points into relevant platform use cases and solution overviews.
- Act as the technical liaison between prospective Client-Partners and internal teams, helping navigate complex or customized opportunities.
- Create supporting documentation such as solution briefs, integration overviews, and client-specific onboarding playbooks.
- Maintain a deep understanding of ASAPP OXP® and bank.io OXP™ capabilities, and stay up to date on platform updates and roadmap items.
- Assist in onboarding new Client-Partners by supporting hand-off from Sales to Implementation.
- Attend trade shows, Partner Forums, and industry events to support technical discussions and represent ASAPP’s capabilities.
Success Criteria
Critical
- 5+ years in a pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical client-facing role within a SaaS, fintech, or financial services setting
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, APIs, data security principles, and enterprise integrations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable engaging with executives and technical stakeholders alike
- Ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear, compelling stories for both business and technical audiences
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce)
Valuable
- Experience working with Canadian credit unions, community banks, or fintech products
- Familiarity with systems such as CRM, lending origination, enterprise content management, or core banking platforms
- Knowledge of the Canadian regulatory landscape and security considerations in financial software
- Background in implementation, onboarding, or technical project delivery is a plus
