Client-Partner Engagement Manager (Account Manager) Opportunity
Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid | Full-Time
ASAPP Financial Technology is seeking a relationship-driven and results-oriented Client-Partner Engagement Manager to join our growing team. Reporting directly to JR Pierman, President and CEO, this role is focused on managing and expanding relationships with ASAPP’s growing portfolio of credit union and financial institution Client-Partners.
As a strategic account manager, you’ll act as the trusted advisor and main point of contact for our partners, ensuring they are successfully onboarded, supported, and continuously extracting value from the ASAPP OXP® | Omnichannel Experience Platform. You’ll play a critical role in platform adoption, client retention, and upsell opportunities.
Your Role
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of credit union and financial institution Client-Partners across Canada
- Act as the voice of the Client-Partner internally, collaborating with Product, Implementation, Support, and Marketing teams to ensure their success
- Lead regular business reviews and status meetings, identifying opportunities for value expansion and platform optimization
- Develop a deep understanding of each Client-Partner’s goals, challenges, and operations to proactively offer strategic recommendations
- Track contract milestones, renewal timelines, and satisfaction metrics to ensure strong long-term partnerships
- Identify and escalate risks or concerns, providing thoughtful solutions to maintain positive relationships
- Help drive the adoption of new features and platform capabilities, ensuring Client-Partners are maximizing ROI
- Support onboarding and transition activities for new Client-Partners as needed
- Attend ASAPP OXP Forum events, tradeshows, and client-facing engagements as a brand ambassador
- Maintain up-to-date records and activities within ASAPP’s CRM tools
Success Criteria
Critical
- 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Relationship Management within the financial services or SaaS industry
- Deep understanding of B2B client lifecycle management and value delivery
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing multiple accounts with varying needs and priorities
- High degree of professionalism and confidence when engaging with senior-level stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Valuable
- Experience working with Canadian credit unions or regulated financial institutions
- Familiarity with SaaS products like CRM, account origination, lending platforms, or core banking systems
- Exposure to client onboarding or implementation project workflows
- Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business conversations
- Background in consulting, product strategy, or fintech client services is a plus
