The Opportunity

This is a principal-level advisory role for a seasoned commercial real estate professional ready to own a significant client portfolio, lead complex transactions, and shape the strategic direction of a high-performing Washington, DC practice.

You will operate with full autonomy over your book of business while contributing to team growth, junior talent development, and overall market positioning.

Compensation is fully commission-based, designed to reward high performers with uncapped earning potential directly tied to the business they generate and close.

What You Will Do

  • Act as a trusted C-suite advisor on real estate strategy, portfolio optimization, and market positioning
  • Drive new business development through referral networks, existing relationships, and direct pursuit efforts
  • Mentor junior Advisors and Associates, contributing to a high-performance culture
  • Represent the firm through industry involvement, speaking engagements, and thought leadership
  • Collaborate with national and international teams to deliver cross-market client solutions
  • Maintain deep expertise in DC market dynamics, lease structures, and emerging trends

What You Bring

  • 10–20+ years in commercial real estate with a strong track record in office tenant representation
  • An established book of business and active client relationships
  • Proven ability to originate, structure, and close complex, high-value transactions
  • Deep knowledge of the Washington, DC market — submarkets, players, and deal dynamics
  • Executive-level communication and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
  • Active DC commercial real estate license (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CCIM, SIOR, or equivalent preferred

What’s On Offer

  • Uncapped commission structure with significant upside tied to production
  • Full platform support including research, marketing, transaction management, and legal
  • Conflict-free model that simplifies client conversations and accelerates deal cycles
  • Collaborative, non-hierarchical environment with no internal competition for clients
  • National and global reach for cross-market mandates
  • Clear path to Managing Principal or regional leadership
