Senior Account Executive

ASAPP Financial Technology is a leader in digital banking and financial services software, empowering financial institutions with cutting-edge solutions to enhance customer experiences and drive growth. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to expand our presence in the Canadian market and drive new licensing sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive B2B SaaS software sales, targeting Canadian financial institutions, including banks and credit unions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring a consultative approach to solution selling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at financial institutions, positioning ASAPP as a strategic partner.
- Conduct live product demonstrations, articulating the value and impact of ASAPP’s platform software.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales Operations and Marketing, to optimize lead generation and conversion.
- Attend and represent ASAPP at 4 to 8 industry conferences per year, plus 2 to 6 customer visits outside the Greater Toronto Area.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets, leveraging a strong commission structure and performance-based incentives.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8 to 10 years of experience in sales, with a strong track record in B2B SaaS software sales.
- Direct experience selling into financial institutions (Canadian banks or credit unions) OR deep industry knowledge gained through previous work at an FI or board membership at a credit union.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting financial institutions in Canada.
- Exceptional sales acumen, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence senior stakeholders.
- Technologically proficient, able to learn and demo ASAPP’s Platform software within 3 months.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel as required (4-8 conferences per year, plus occasional customer visits).
